No. Some people *want* a spare battery, if you don't want it don't buy it. It's not like it's a popup ad or something.
The American market is not like the rest of the world and it really isn't 'all anyone uses'.

I missed seeing it in theaters. That's a great deal for the price.
I actually had never seen it, just didn't get around to it. I just bought it because it was a Michael Cera movie :P

I didn't buy it. A friend of mine from Israel bought it online for $13 and just shipped it to MA. So simple, isn't it? ;)

Grab yourself a copy of xdelta (http://xdelta.org/) and do your fancy small update package yourself. There's even no need to look at Google, this was common practice on Gentoo GNU/Linux years ago (http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=318671). I remember running a satellite server myself. However, that were ISDN/Analog/DSL 765k days, who on 16MBit cares whether the updates are 30 or 300MB anymore, as long as Apple hosts the files?

Well Apple has used up all the "big cat" names like Tiger and Lion which means that either OS 11 is underway or they will be in the embarassing situation of having to use lesser cat names which imply "less".

I'm glad to see all the new contributors. Don't worry if you don't think they're good enough. I haven't seen anyone's pictures that don't belong here. If there is criticism it is meant to be helpful and not insulting.

I'm with KookAid, I find that the Inspector is far more time consuming than a well laid out Icon Bar with drop boxes. Maybe it's because I've been using Microsoft Office forever. But I have given Pages a serious try and I find that I really like it, except for it's lacking AutoCorrection and Inspector.

I'll take my Inspector over extra tool bars, unless someone provides contextual tool bars, something I haven't seen since my desktop publishing software Calamus SL on Atari ST. A lot of my software uses an inspector dialog of some kind and I'm pleased to have that instead of 3 or 4 or 15 tool bars, which take up more room. It's tough when the tool bars take more room than the text.
Maybe they'll even offer ground-breaking features like bi-directional text editing :rolleyes:
Seriously, if Apple wants to compete in the word processing field, they need to start addressing people around the world, not just those who they consider guranteed target audience.

Many get garbage 3G speeds on AT&T in many areas anyway, so what's the point of having a 4G iPhone that GSM provider (insert AT&T) in the US can't even support on a mass basis?

So the figure head who has had little to nothing to do with Al-Queada (a leaderless brand name of extremists at this point) since 9/11 is dead. Woo hoo. Meanwhile, terrorism in the world has only increased since the "war on terror" (something that was predicted and well known by US planners when gearing up for it).

Thread hijack over -- AAPL stock is down just to create an opportunity for common folk to buy it.
I bought recently at 140. Even though the stock has dropped even further, I'm not worried!
I just wish the stock would split, so I could buy a lot more shares.
It will rise again!
On a side note, I was about to short Apple and Google a few months ago... should have listened to myself.
